Marsja Mudde

Ensemble Trigon was founded in 1998 by artistic leader Margot Kalse and - depending the project - consists of three to five experienced singers: Margot Kalse (mezzo-soprano), Cora Schmeiser (soprano), Marsja Mudde (soprano), Inga Schneider (mezzo-soprano), Mikae Natsuyama (soprano) and / or Corinne van Wijk (soprano).

Trigon focusses on vocal music from the Middle Ages and tries to come to an interpretation as close as possible to the original. Therefore the earliest available sources of the music are used and analysed, as well as treatises about vocal techniques and performance from the medieval period. Modal movement and natural vibration are keywords in the approach of Trigon.
